Forest School

Forest school is a holistic approach to learning whereby children are taught in the natural environment. The key aims we hope to achieve in our Forest School are to build resilience, self-esteem, confidence and social skills, including team work and cooperation, whilst also covering elements of the Design and Technology curriculum. We believe these factors are essential in creating independent learners with hard working attitudes who can apply the skills learned to their classroom based activities.

All classes will take part in Forest for a full afternoon per half term. Details of dates will be sent out to individual classes.
